Realtime Digital

Realtime Digital, Inc., located in Anaheim, California, specializes in the design and production of custom simulation/training systems for the US Army Apache AH-64 helicopter program.

Apache Collective TSTT Training (ACTT) is a product of Realtime Digital.  RTD also designed and built the production configuration TADS Selected Task Trainer (TSTT).   In 1992, Realtime Digital received the Army Aviation Association of America's Small Business Materiel Readiness Award, for outstanding work on the TSTT Program.

The State of TSTT's and Realtime Digital

On 1 November 2003, Realtime Digital ceased operations.  L-3 Communications, Lexington, KY was contracted to re-create the TSTT for the Army.  When done, we're sure that the replacement TSTTs will be state-of-the-art in every way.  But what will be lost is the capability of collective TSTT training as shown on this CD/website.  We think that's a big mistake.  If or when collective TSTT training becomes a requirement, that "wheel" must be re-invented.
